A new chick in the nest: opening in June 2018 the latest member of the VakVarjú family is the VakVarjú Boat House on the Pesterzsebet Danube bank.
The youngest family member is located at a fantastic site, on the undisturbed Danube bank of Budapest. The boat houses at their prime during the last century are being renovated into their original charm, and besides serving the lovers of water sports, they provide the venue for the latest new restaurant and event centre of South-Pest and the agglomeration. The third boat house building in the row has been divided into two parts: the side facing the Danube houses the newest member of VakVarjú, while towards Vízisport street there is the event hall called Duna Boat House. The two facilities are run independently and await the fans of VakVarjú restaurants and event participants in Pesterzsebet. On the terrace of the restaurant, directly on the waterfront, our guests may enjoy the original VakVarjú atmosphere.

Ambient atmosphere is provided by live piano music in the evenings. In our open kitchen the guests can enjoy watching their speciality meals being prepared on lava stones. The wine list of the restaurant also reflects uniqueness, offering the best of the Hungarian wine regions and a selection of exciting items of international wines. „In my kitchen we prepare dishes that give pleasure.
